About Casmir Who can benefit from this class? "Any age range can participate in this class. If you are under the age of 18, you must have parental consent on our waiver. This is a class for anyone, any size, any height and any frame of mind.It is also a zero impact workout that will strengthen & tone muscles you never knew you had, as well as being an excellent cardio workout. It is also ideal for those who have physical challenges when it comes to other types of fitness classes. Also, it is a self-empowering experience, putting you in touch with your inner self & giving you a whole new world of confidence. Plus, the world of belly dance is constantly evolving, so there is always something new to learn or try. This is a fun, never boring way to not only get in shape, but to get in touch with yourself & your fellow dancers. " ~ Casmir What do I wear? Please wear normal workout clothing such as capris or shorts (but may get on floor at some point). You need to be comfortable and able to move freely. Regarding tops, you are welcome to wear tank tops or t-shirts. The tighter the shirt the better because it allows the instructors to be able to see your abdomen to ensure you are doing movements properly. No shoes are allowed unless for orthopedic purposes. Barefeet are welcome or you may want to wear dance slippers. Do I need to bring anything with me?
